Movers for Moms
I was in Pilot Bank the week before Mother’s Day and I spotted a donation box near the entrance with the logo for Two Men and A Truck. Above their logo was a purple and white sign about an initiative called Movers for Moms.
I recently moved to a new house and used Two Men and A Truck and loved their efficiency, friendliness and the care they took with my furniture.
So I was very interested in learning about what they were doing.
Near the box there was a holder with brochures that people could take, explaining that this program was to help mothers in need on Mother’s Day and that the donations were going to help mothers create a better life for themselves and their families.
It had a list of items that were needed and explained that the donation boxes would be picked up by Two Men and A Truck drivers and delivered to local shelters.
Movers for Moms wanted to recognize moms in crisis on Mother’s Day!!
They have boxes set up in 1,200 collection sites across the country and partner up with more than 800 businesses, schools, and community groups each year.
Here in the greater Tampa Bay Area, we have 6 – Two Men and A Truck franchises that are all involved with this program and have 22 partners and 57 boxes scattered around that they were picking up from and dropping off.
What a great way to Spread Goodness on Mother’s Day!
